What Is Bathroom Remodeling?
A full bathroom remodel reworks the room from the studs out: new layout, new plumbing runs where needed, new finishes, and new fixtures working together as one design instead of a patchwork of past repairs. Homeowners in Comer, GA usually come to us after a bathroom has fallen behind the rest of the house, or after years of small fixes that never quite solved the underlying layout problem. A remodel is the point where those issues finally get addressed together, not one at a time.
Why You Need It
Bathrooms that go too long without attention tend to develop compounding problems. Grout failures let water behind tile, subfloors soften near tubs and toilets, and outdated wiring near wet areas becomes a real safety concern. Waiting also means losing the chance to fix layout issues while walls are already open for other work. What starts as a cosmetic complaint, like dated tile or a cramped vanity, is often sitting on top of moisture damage that costs far more to repair the longer it's ignored.
Our Process
1. Design and Layout Walkthrough
We measure the space, review your plumbing and electrical locations, and talk through how you actually use the room before drawing anything. This is where layout problems get caught early instead of discovered mid-project.
2. Demolition and Prep
Old fixtures, tile, and flooring come out carefully, with attention to what's underneath. Any subfloor or framing damage found here gets flagged and addressed before new materials go in.
3. Rough-In Work
Plumbing and electrical are adjusted or replaced to match the new layout, inspected, and confirmed before walls close back up.
4. Finish and Fixtures
Tile, flooring, vanity, lighting, and fixtures are installed in sequence, with a final walkthrough so nothing gets signed off until it looks and functions the way it was planned.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most remodels take the primary bathroom out of use for the bulk of the project timeline. If it's your only bathroom, we talk through options in advance so you're not caught off guard partway through.

We stop, show you what we found, and give you options before moving forward. It's far cheaper to address it now than to tile over a problem that keeps growing.
Absolutely. Keeping the existing footprint and plumbing locations is usually the most cost-effective approach, and many remodels don't need a layout change to feel completely new.
We stand behind our workmanship and will come back to address any installation issue that shows up after the project is complete. Details are outlined in your project agreement.
